Top colleges in India to study Banking, Finance and Insurance

Faculty of Management Studies

Established in 1954 under the aegis of Delhi University, this institute started at the Delhi School of Economics Campus. It offers full-time MBA, an executive MBA programs. For the doctoral programs, the maximum number of seats per year is 20.

K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce

Established in 1974 by Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, this college offers about 25 courses on Banking and Finance starting from secondary level to doctoral level. The total strength of students is 6000 and that of the teacher is 105.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies

Established in 1981 by Vile Parle Kelavani, the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is a deemed university in Mumbai. It is ranked 8th by Outlook India. It offers courses in Banking and Finance.

NIIT University

Established in 2009 by Rajendra Singh Pawar, it is a private university in Rajasthan. It is a not-for-profit institution funded by NIIT Ltd. Partnered with the ICICI bank, NIIT University offers courses in Finance and Banking.

Bharti Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Information Technology

Established in 1964 by educationist Patangrao Kadam. It has now 78 schools and 60 institutions across India.

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM)

Established in 2006 by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), it offers academic and skill development programs related to security markets to improvise the financial literacy of India.

Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMIU)

Established in 1920 by Muslim leaders and freedom fighters (Ali brothers; Mohammad Ali Jouhar and Shaukat Ali) is a public central university in Delhi. It offers courses related to Commerce and Business Studies.
