How to access CBSE Class 12 results: Everything you need to know

Central Board of Secondary Education announced the CBSE class 12 result on 26th of May. After a lot of hullabaloo over the results, it is finally out and students have passed with flying colours. Continuing the trend of digital push from the government of India, this year CBSE has incorporated multiple ways using which you can access your class 12 result.

All these methods to access your result have been designed keeping in mind the various tools used by schools and students. In addition to the traditional emails to schools, the results and mark sheets are available on various other platforms like Digilocker, Umang app and SMS Organizer app by Microsoft. Here are the various ways with which you can access the CBSE class 12 result and also download your mark sheet.

RESULTS ON NET

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is hosting the class 12 results on the internet gaining technical support from NIC (National Informatics Centre) under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India. CBSE class 12 results can be accessed on the following websites:

  1. www.results.nic.in

  2. www.cbseresults.nic.in

  3. www.cbse.nic.in

As always, schools can get the entire school result on their registered email IDs with the CBSE. This list is made available to the schools on the day the results are declared. Students can directly approach their schools and find out all about their results.

CBSE GOES DIGITAL AND MOBILE

Gaining momentum from the Modi government’s push for digital integration in schools and colleges, this year also CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in

How to access results on Digilocker?

  • The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE

  • DigiLocker can also be accessed from your mobile phone on Android and iOS platforms

  • Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile application which is available for Android, iOS and Windows-based smartphone

RESULTS THROUGH IVRS (INTERACTIVE VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM) /SMS FACILITY OF NIC

The telephone numbers of NIC through which results can be accessed through IVRS are as follows:

  1. National Informatics Centre: TELEPHONE NUMBER(S) AREA COVERED 24300699 – for local subscribers in Delhi 011 – 24300699 – for subscribers in other parts of the country

  2. SMS The result can be received by sending SMS for class 12 as given below: cbse12 on mobile number 7738299899

Results on Microsoft search engine Results can also be accessed through Microsoft search engine www.bing.com and SMS Organizer App on mobile which can be installed from play store https://aka.ms/sms
Results on Google search engine Results can also be accessed through Google search engine www.google.co.in
Schools under Delhi Region Schools under the Delhi Region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective Zonal office of Deputy Director of Education after the declaration of the result by confirming the time with them. The result will not be available in the Board and the public is advised not to visit Board’s office for collection of results. The process of verification will be displayed on CBSE’s website.
